Oren Livne, PhD

Head of Data and AI Analytics

  • Oren Livne serves as Head of Data and AI Analytics at Taldavi, where he is responsible for the architecture, scalability, and continuous advancement of the company’s predictive modeling ecosystem. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and brings deep expertise in artificial intelligence, analytics, and large-scale software systems. With prior experience at Amazon, Google, and in the biotechnology and defense sectors, he brings a rare ability to translate mathematical abstraction into practical, real-world intelligence.

    Building on Taldavi’s scientific foundation, Oren has scaled its analytical systems to detect multiple diseases, expanding the reach, reliability, and clinical relevance of its diagnostic algorithms. His work unifies data, computation, and clinical context, ensuring that every new data modality strengthens predictive power and deepens biological understanding.

    Under Oren’s leadership, Taldavi integrates genomic, molecular, imaging, and clinical data into unified AI pipelines and continuously advances its use of machine learning, causal inference, and spatial analytics. He works closely with Taldavi’s technology, scientific, clinical, and compliance leaders to ensure that AI innovation remains rigorous, interpretable, secure, and clinically meaningful.

    Oren embodies Taldavi’s commitment to depth, scale, and scientific integrity, guiding the evolution of an adaptive AI system designed to reveal disease earlier, more accurately, and with greater confidence.

    Oren also currently serves as a Principal Applied Scientist at QXO, Inc. He oversees the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models of pricing optimization for the entire organization. He leads the development of sales rep and customer incentive applications within SalesForce. He is a primary point of contact with Sales, Finance, HR and Procurement for implementing new AI initiatives from inventory forecasting to behavioral modeling. He mentors junior team members and is part of the engineering team leadership and hiring committee.

Imelda T. Sandoval, PhD

Head of Compliance and Ethics

  • Imelda T. Sandoval, PhD, is Taldavi’s Head of Compliance and Ethics, guiding the company’s adherence to scientific, regulatory, and procedural standards that underpin diagnostic validity and credibility. A scientific leader with 20+ years across biotechnology, precision medicine, and healthcare, she turns ambitious research goals into executable strategies while bridging technical teams, senior leadership, and external partners.

    Dr. Sandoval translates complex clinical and omics datasets into decision-ready insights that inform study design and product roadmaps. Her regulatory experience includes defining FDA pathways for software-based digital diagnostics, authoring and maintaining umbrella IRB protocols, and ensuring HIPAA and IACUC compliance. Known for building efficient systems and high-performing teams, she has launched research programs, established laboratory operations, and contributed to translational genomics and oncology studies.

    Her focus at Taldavi is proactive, ethics-first compliance that enables rigorous science to translate into trustworthy, submission-ready products.

Richard Glenn dela Cruz, PhD

Head of Technology

  • Richard Glenn dela Cruz, PhD, is Taldavi’s Head of Technology, where he leads the company’s AI, data, and analytics efforts to build reproducible, interpretable, and clinically rigorous digital diagnostics. An applied AI/ML scientist and engineer, he guides product development from research prototype to pilot, establishing practical engineering standards, model validation practices, and data governance that support safe, reliable deployment. Richard’s work spans organ-age modeling and digital diagnostics, and he collaborates closely with clinical and product teams to translate scientific insight into scalable software.

    Before Taldavi, he led digital diagnostics initiatives at Culmination Bio. He holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and has authored peer-reviewed research.

    His focus at Taldavi is responsible innovation - turning promising signals into usable tools for patients, clinicians, and partners.

Katie Laurino

Head of Marketing and Communications

  • Katie Laurino serves as Head of Marketing and Communications at Taldavi, where she leads the company’s brand identity, messaging, and external communications strategy. She plays a central role in translating complex scientific innovation into clear, compelling, and accessible narratives for patients, clinicians, partners, and investors, ensuring that Taldavi’s mission is communicated with accuracy, clarity, and purpose.

    With more than 20 years of experience guiding marketing, communications, and brand strategy for purpose-driven organizations, Katie brings a proven ability to build trust, drive engagement, and support growth across healthcare, biotechnology, and science-informed consumer sectors. Her work spans go-to-market strategy, scientific storytelling, integrated campaigns, and data-driven brand development.

    At Taldavi, Katie ensures that every touchpoint reflects both scientific credibility and human compassion. Working closely with the company’s scientific, clinical, technology, and compliance leaders, she aligns brand strategy with company vision, positioning Taldavi as a trusted leader in clinical intelligence while advancing its mission to empower individuals through earlier, clearer health insights.

Lincoln Nadauld, MD, PhD

Head of Medical and Clinical Strategy

  • Before co-founding Taldavi, Lincoln Nadauld, MD, PhD, most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Culmination Bio, a spinout of Intermountain Health dedicated to advancing data-driven discovery in healthcare. Under his leadership, Dr. Nadauld and his team built a novel multimodal health technology platform and insights engine designed to accelerate medical research, integrate large-scale health data, and enable next-generation healthcare services.

    Prior to his role with Culmination, Dr. Nadauld served as Vice President and Chief of Precision Health at Intermountain Health, where he founded the Intermountain Precision Genomics program. He was also the founding principal investigator of the HerediGene®: Population Study, a landmark initiative focused on uncovering new connections between genetics and human disease across populations exceeding 100,000 participants.

    Dr. Nadauld completed combined MD/PhD training at University of Utah and his clinical fellowship in Medical Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His research has been widely published in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals.

    Dr. Nadauld is married with five children and enjoys attending their activities and events, water sports, fishing, and other athletic pursuits.

Michael Wiley, CPA, JD

Head of Legal, Finance, and Business Affairs

  • Michael Wiley, prior to co-founding Taldavi, from 2022 to 2025 helped spin Culmination Bio out of Intermountain Healthcare to provide health care datasets to biotechnologies companies developing diagnostic and therapeutic advances.  Prior to Culmination Bio, Michael incorporated and co-founded Guardant Health and helped build it from 2012 to 2022 and continues as an advisor to the company to this day. 

    At Guardant, in addition to his post as Chief Legal Officer through almost all of his tenure, Michael led finance, accounting, HR, reimbursement, and international commercialization amongst other responsibilities for a number of years during Guardant’s rapid growth, including over $500M in pre-IPO financing and over $2B in IPO and post-IPO offerings, initial commercialization of multiple complex products and overall company revenue growth to now over $1B per annum and employee growth to more than 2,000 current employees.

    Prior to Guardant and after working as a tax accountant at KPMG and an attorney at Venture Law Group, Michael played senior executive roles at IntegenX (sold to ThermoFisher), Avantome (sold to Illumina), Voyage Medical (sold to Intuitive Surgical) and most notably Farapulse (sold to Boston Scientific). 

    Michael is married with four children that keep him busy outside his work responsibilities; he also enjoys skiing (water and snow), various team sports (coaching and playing), and playing in the beautiful outdoors of Utah.

David A. Jones, PhD

Distinguished Scientist & Head of Operations

  • David A. Jones, PhD, is a distinguished biomedical scientist, translational research leader, and entrepreneur whose career spans three decades across academic medicine, cancer centers, and large-scale precision-health initiatives. He is the Founder and Chief Scientific Architect of Taldavi Health Clarity, where he leads scientific strategy across its three pillars: Pathfinder, the Taldavi Health Index, and the Epistemological Engine, a first-principles rethink of how modern medicine defines disease, assesses data quality, and generates scientific insight.

    Dr. Jones has held senior leadership positions throughout the nation’s top biomedical institutions, including Senior Director of Early Translational Research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Deputy Director of Translational Research at the Stephenson Cancer Center, Chief Scientist at Intermountain Healthcare, and Distinguished Scientist and Head of Science/Science Marketing at Culmination Bio.

    A molecular biologist and pharmacologist by training, he earned his PhD at the University of Colorado and completed post-doctoral studies in human molecular biology and genetics at the University of Utah. Over his academic career, he served as Professor of Oncological Sciences and Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Utah, was appointed the Jeannine Tuttle Rainbolt Endowed Chair in Cancer Research at OMRF, and held multiple adjunct professorships in pathology and oncological sciences.

    Dr. Jones is internationally recognized for pioneering contributions in colorectal cancer biology, epigenetics, intestinal stem cell regulation, and APC/Wnt signaling. His laboratory produced foundational discoveries on DNA demethylation systems, retinoid biology, prostaglandin pathways, and the molecular determinants of colon cancer initiation and progression—work published in Cell, PNAS, JBC, Cancer Research, Elife, JAMA Oncology, and other leading journals. He has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications, delivered dozens of invited talks worldwide, and led or co-led multiple NIH, NCI, ACS, and foundation- funded research programs over nearly 30 years.

    Beyond his scientific accomplishments, Dr. Jones has served in substantial national leadership roles, including full-membership on NIH Scientific Review Committees, chairing American Cancer Society Review Committees, and providing scientific oversight for translational cores, drug-screening platforms, tissue repositories, and early-phase clinical research programs. His administrative experience includes leading precision-medicine initiatives, biorepositories, genomic-discovery programs, and multi-institutional data-science collaborations.

    Across all of these roles, Dr. Jones has been driven by a single, unifying philosophy: medicine advances when we improve how we see, not just what we measure.
