We all know that investment in biomedical innovation carries risk. A big part of that risk comes from unseen weaknesses embedded in the scientific knowledge on which an investment depends.

Taldavi has used expert-guided AI to identify proprietary key features of scientific fields that predict their likelihood of producing successful clinical outcomes. The Field Integrity Assessment examines the entire body of knowledge surrounding a field and produces a structured, reproducible assessment of its scientific strength.

The Field Integrity Assessment goes beyond a typical due diligence review of a project’s scientific merit by evaluating whether the scientific field underlying the program has the foundational strength, coherence, and history of translation required to support continued success.

In confirmatory analyses, we successfully applied the Field Integrity Assessment to 21 cancer treatment lines, a full pharmaceutical pipeline, and the major research fields within Alzheimer’s disease. Across the cancer corpus, meaningful clinical benefit consistently tracked the strength of the underlying scientific field.
